Metalwork for spaces,

surfaces and structures.

The Ritual Works is a specialist metal fabrication and architectural metalwork workshop based in Scotland.

We make metalwork for architecture, interiors, signage, hospitality, commercial spaces and production — from one-off pieces to larger manufacturing runs.

Our work sits between technical fabrication and visual judgement. We are interested in how metal is drawn, formed, finished, fixed and lived with; how a detail holds up on site; and how a material can shape the character of a space.

Established in 2018 by MJ Rennie and Eleonora Kasyan, the workshop grew from a background in signage, fabrication and hands-on making. That foundation still informs the way we work: practically, closely and with respect for the process to achieve best longevity for our products.

Today, we work with architects, designers, contractors and commercial clients to resolve details, test materials and produce clear, buildable outcomes.

Our workshop brings together traditional fabrication knowledge with modern sheet metal machinery, CAD, laser cutting, folding, welding, finishing and assembly.

This allows us to move between bespoke architectural work and broader production runs, while keeping control over quality, timing and detail.

We like to be involved early, especially where a project needs thinking through. That might mean resolving a junction, testing a finish, adjusting a fixing method or finding a cleaner way to make something.

Good metalwork depends on good conversation. We work closely with clients, designers and contractors so the intention is understood before it becomes a drawing, a part, or a finished piece.

We stay close to the detail from the beginning, helping intent move clearly from conversation to drawing, material and finished piece.
